You probably don't need to learn how to cook from scratch.
You know your way around a kitchen.
You can follow a recipe. You get dinner on the table.
But the moment a recipe doesn't quite fit real life, you hesitate.
You freeze. You doubt. You blame your cooking.
"Can I leave that out? Can I swap this for that? Is this too bland? Have I ruined it? And what do I do now?"
Cook Your Way is for these moments.
Not the polished special-occasion dinner where everything goes neatly to plan.
The real days. The messy ktichen. The tired Tuesday. The half-empty fridge. The 'this tastes almost right, but not quite'.
The moment where you don't need another recipe.
You need to know how to respond to what is happening in your pan. Right now.
You need a way to cook that works for real life. Your life.
You need to cook your way.
Of course recipes help. They give you ideas, structure, a starting point. Totally useful.
But a recipe can't tell you what to do when dinner changes on you.
When the courgette is softer than expected. When the soup tastes flat. When the recipe says 20 minutes and your lentils disagree. When you don't have the right herb, the right cheese, the right anything. When the food is technically cooked but somehow still not quite there.
That's where most people start to doubt themselves.
Not because they can't cook. Because the recipe has nothing left to say.
And that moment isn't a cooking failure. It's a recipe limitation.
Recipes were never designed to handle real life. They're fixed. Your kitchen isn't.
The question was never whether you could follow instructions.
It's what you do when the instructions run out.
There's a reason experienced cooks seem to just know things.
They're not working from a bigger recipe bank. They're not guessing, either.
They're noticing.
The smell that tells them the onions are ready. The sound that says the heat is too high. The taste that says nearly there, needs a little something. The look of a sauce that's about to catch.
They see those moments because they've learnt what to look for.
A birdwatcher can't spot a robin until they know what a robin looks like. Once they do, they see them everywhere, and every sighting builds the picture a little more.
The principles and patterns you learn inside Cook Your Way work in the same way.
Not a library of recipes or list of rules to work through, but a way of sharpening your perception for what actually counts while you cook.
So the small moments of judgement you're already making become something you can see, trust, and build on.

You stop feeling at the mercy of recipes.
You still use them when they help. Of course you do.
But they stop being the thing that decides what you're allowed to cook.
You open the fridge and see more possibilities than problems. You taste before you panic. You notice when something needs a bit more, and what kind of something. You stop trying to rescue a meal that only needed finishing.
You let a simple dinner be simple. And enjoy it.
And slowly, your perception changes.
From "Am I doing this wrong?", to "I see what's happening here. I know what I'd try next."
It’s about feeling good about cooking.
You already have the instincts. Cook Your Way will help you remember them.
"I didn't really feel confident in the kitchen. Now I just glance at a recipe and go with an intuitive approach - and I'm enjoying the process!" - CATRIN
"The idea of becoming a confident cook seemed too good to be true - but it's working! Katerina's approach has actually left me enjoying a task I used to find a chore." - KATE
"This approach really changed how I cook. No more pressure to do it 'right'. Life got easier, and a lot more flavourful!" - EGLE
Cook Your Way is a guided practice space.
Not a subscription. Not a course to complete. Not a recipe bank to work through.
You start when you're ready. You get access for 90 days.
You are not dropped into a pile of content. Instead, there are three anchors you can keep coming back to:
The Field Guide
A growing collection of short, practical kitchen notes: what to notice, what it might mean, and what you could do next. Short ways of seeing everyday cooking differently, so you know what to look for while you cook. Not rules to memorise. Not long lessons to get through. A way of training your eye for what actually counts.
The Kitchen Table
This is where we share our real cooking. The flat soup. The half-empty fridge. The "what would you do with this?" moments. Somewhere to share what you noticed, ask your questions, get help when you're stuck, and see how other people are learning to trust their kitchen sense too.
Twice a month, we also meet for live Kitchen Sessions. Bring your questions, kitchen tangles and real-life dinner moments. Cook along if you want to, or just come and listen.
The Weekly Rhythm
This is what keeps it simple. You choose one way of seeing. You try it in your own kitchen. You notice what happens. You share a note, a question or a small win. Then, over time, you start seeing what is changing, and what is getting easier.
That's the practice.
It may seem "too simple". But kitchen confidence often grows quietly. Slowing down and looking closely helps you notice how much is changing.
90 days gives you enough time to cook actual everyday dinners, notice real patterns, and feel the difference in your own kitchen.
Cook Your Way is not about completing modules or lessons. You're not behind if you miss a week. You're not failing if you only share one small sighting. You're not doing it wrong if dinner is still sometimes messy, stressful or boring.
The point isn't to become a different kind of cook. The point is to start noticing the moments where you already have the judgement you need. And to practise trusting it.

“I have always enjoyed cooking, but I have relied on recipes and been nervous to detour. Katerina has helped me learn the foundational principles that give me the confidence to forge my own path, with whatever I happen to have on hand.” - DANIELA
“With Katerina’s playful, confident guidance, I’ve remembered that I DO know what I like and don’t like - and that inner knowing is what guides creating delicious food. She opened my eyes to something I didn’t even realise I’d forgotten.” - MARY ROSE
Cook Your Way works best if you're willing to notice, taste, experiment, and love meals that are tasty and nourishing, rather than impressive.

Hi! I'm Katerina - intuitive cook, irreverent kitchen coach, and real-life shopkeeper. I’ve been cooking intuitively since I was about 8 - long before I knew it had a name.
For the last decade, I have run a wholefood shop in rural North Wales, and the thousands of daily conversations with customers have shaped what I teach: Helping frazzled home cooks let go of the rules, trust their taste, and find ease and joy in their kitchen.
Cook Your Way is my invitation to rediscover a calm and effortless way of cooking that puts the flavour (and the fun!) back into your kitchen.
This is not a course to complete - it's a journey to re-connect with your taste buds, your cravings and your creativity: Your kitchen, your way!
Because you don't need to be a 'good cook' to make good food - all you need is a way to trust yourself more.
Then this is for you. There is nothing wrong with you. You just haven't been shown another way to make fecisions while cooking. Cook Your Way gives you small, practical ways to start reading what is happening in your own pots and pans, so recipes become useful starting points instead of something you have to cling to.
No. You need to want cooking to feel easier, calmer and more your own. This is not about becoming impressive in the kitchen. It is about building trust in the judgement you already have.
You get 90 days access to the Field Guide, the Kitchen Table, twice-monthly live Kitchen Sessions with me, plus bonus resources. Each week, you'll get one email, one new way to notice what counts, and one simple prompt to try in your own kitchen. You can join the live sessions, cook along if you want to, or catch the recordings later.
Your 90 days start from the day you join. (If you sign up before August 15th, your 90 days begin when the space opens.)
Cook Your Way is not a subscription, so nothing renews automatically. Your 90 days are there to give you a clear practice space, not another open-ended thing to keep paying for. I’m still experimenting with the shape of what happens after that. There may be an option to continue, but there is no obligation and no surprise payment.
Absolutely. Because this is not about following my way of cooking. It is about understanding how cooking works, so you can swap, simplify and adjust for your own needs with more confidence.
No. This is built for real life. Cooking two or three times a week is enough to start noticing patterns, making decisions, and feeling less dependent on recipes.
You'll probably notice a shift quiote quickly, especially once you start seeing how much you know already. Deeper confidence builds through repetition: cooking real dinners, noticing what happens, and doing it again. That is why you get 90 days, not a pile of lessons to rush through.
I'm always happy to answer questions! Just email me at [hello at theintuitivecook.co.uk] and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
"You have really inspired me to get back into cooking. I get tasty results, and I'm having fun again!" - HELEN
"Absolutely brilliant! I now feel confident to experiment intuitively. Enjoying cooking more than ever." - ELIN
"This approach really changed how I cook. No more pressure to do it 'right'. Life got easier, and a lot more flavourful!" - EGLE
"Love your approach. So refreshing! I never thought I could actually have fun cooking." - MARY
Taste is personal. So is the way we learn. If you decide within the first 14 days that this isn't right for you, just email me and I'll refund you. No drama. No hard feelings. I would much rather you trust your taste here too.

You don't need to become a 'better' cook. You don't need to memorise more rules. You don't need another recipe making you feel like a failure.
You need a way to notice what is happening in your pan, trust what you can taste, and make the next small decision feel like you know what you're doing.
That is what Cook Your Way is for. Come in.
Bring your real kitchen.
Bring the soup that tastes almost right. Bring the nothing-in-the-fridge Monday, and the food-in-20-mins-or-else dinner that needs a way forward.
