the best bit

"There's so often so many ways that you can kind of get the same effect with a similar ingredient or spice anyway."

Three ideas for taking action in your own kitchen, inspired by the conversation.

🍅 Take a look at your spice collection and remove any that you rarely or never use. By focusing on the spices you actually use, you can keep them fresh and ensure you have what you need for your favourite recipes.

🍅 Take a trip to your local health food store (or supermarket) to explore different varieties of dark chocolate and understand the benefits it offers compared to other sweet treats.

🍅 Take Penny's tip of using lentils in place of meat for cost savings and added nutrition, and experiment with seasoning your dishes with words to make them sound more special.
